2018 NEA Excellence Award Winners

The Ann Latsky Nursing College received the Group award for the work by four educators, namely, Claudine Mofokeng, Miensie Day, Marlene Maré, and Thabiso Mathe, for the Peer Education Programme they initiated and implemented at the College to support students during training.

2018 NEA Chapter Award

NEA acknowledges the work of Chapters Management Committees for the initiatives and activities undertaken to engage members and to promote the visibility and objectives of NEA. The calculations are done based on a Balanced Score Card developed by the NEA Board which include operational excellence and governance; organisational growth through membership; promoting quality teaching and learning; involving ambassadors; capacity building and strengthening a research culture; and community outreach. This year we have two chapters that scored the same and received the award, namely the Johannesburg and Mpumalanga Chapters. Congratulations Colleagues and thanks for your contribution to NEA and its members!
